The Battleship 5k

This Sunday November 9th will be the kick off of another Heyday event.

We’ve wanted to do an event for the Military and those who serve for a while now. We’ve also had our eye on the Battleship IOWA as a potential venue for such an event.

Well, along with Joe Buscaino, have partnered with the Pacific Battleship Center to put on the very first 5k there. Not only that but we will have a special benefit workout that people can participate in as well. Both will have a registration fee which will benefit the Puppy Jake Foundation.

A. 5 Rounds
“:30 Box Jump @20\24”

B. Back Squat 4×4 @80% * Rest 4 minutes between sets
C. 100 Push Ups for Time:

Clean + Power Jerk 3×2+2
Jerk Balance 4×3
Front Squat w/pause 3×3 **3 count for pause**

Open Workout #2 Get Some

From 0:00-3:00
2 Rounds of:
10 Overhead Squats #95/65
10 Chest-to-Bar Pull-Ups

From 3:00-6:00
2 Rounds Of:
12 Overhead Squats
12 Chest-to-Bar Pull-Ups

From 6:00-9:00
2 Rounds Of:
14 Overhead Squats
14 Chest-to-Bar Pull-Ups
Etc., following same pattern until you fail to complete both rounds.
