I have a bit of a challenge for you.
If you find yourself not making your fitness goals lately what’s one thing you could do in July to change that? What would put you back beast-mode?
Really, one thing, and one thing only. Pick something and focus on it in July. I notice some people are a little inconsistent in their attendance. I understand, life is crazy and things get in the way. But, I challenge you to make it in here more.
Grab a calendar and set a goal number of workouts. Say 12. Yes, just 12. Can you do 12 WODs in a month?
The whole month, each time you come in, make a tick mark on the calendar and see if meet the attendance goal.
Or with eating, each day, make a tick mark (a smiley face) on all the *good* eating days you had and an X on all the uh, no-so-good ones and see which way it leans.
There’s nothing like the cold hard numbers to set you straight.
I’m just throwing some ideas out there, but we are about to complete the first half of the 2011 and it’s easy to get complacent. I know some of you had resolutions. Well it’s still 2011 and I’m here to remind you to knuckle down on your half-year resolution.
The economy’s declining but you don’t have to be. So, get creative and give any feelings of your own personal “recession” the middle finger.
